In 1995, the homeowner was rushing to finish building this home because they were adopting their only child. She passed the responsibility of selecting materials to her husband. The interior was finished with honey oak wood and builder-grade white cabinets with Corian countertops. Fast forward to 2023, the kitchen was falling apart, and she was exhausted looking at honey oak everywhere. She was ready to remodel it her way. She had distinctive photos of her dream kitchen. The project couldn’t be limited to the kitchen, however. The look was so dramatically different, it included the whole floor to make sense.
