Local Search: Location, Location, Location

The three most important factors in attracting local business are accuracy, participation, and frequency. In Search Marketing, this is done through local search. It’s not the only way to rank on the first page of Google’s Search Engine Results Page (SERP), but it is the fastest-growing search method. Nearly half of all click-throughs to your website will come from Google’s Map Pack.  During this session, we will go over how to optimize your Google My Business profile.

Key Learnings:

  • Step #1 – Accuracy. Making sure all of your profile content is accurate and current.
  • Step #2 – Participation.  Your engagement on the platform is a key factor. Adding content and interacting with visitors improves your ranking results.
  • Step #3 – Frequency. Lastly, establishing a consistent and timely routine to updating and responding is easier with our “Frequency Schedule”.
